Throughout the site, I have used High Dynamic Range digital photography for scenic and still life. I explained the process in the previous gallery, but this gallery I'm going to feature "Surreal Photos". Some would say, the HDR process results in surreal photographs. And they may be right, because what you see is not a normal photograph because it has extreme brightness and darkness. But when I play with a "normal" photo on my HDR program on my computer, I usually end up with a surreal photo. This page is devoted to HDR surreal photos. When you enlarge this photos you will notice that they are a cross between a painted scene and a photograph. This is what I call a Surreal Photo and you will see these surreal photos throughout my site. |
